About Us

  • Dr. Boisvert is a board certified optometrist licensed in Rhode Island.

    After graduating from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, Dr. Boisvert went on to study at the New England College of Optometry in Boston. She graduated with honors as a Doctor of Optometry and is a diplomate of the American Board of Optometry.

    She enjoys being active and frequently volunteers in the community. Her favorite activities are reading, exercising and enjoying the beautiful beaches of Rhode Island.

  • Dr. Humulock is a Southern Rhode Island native, and received his Bachelor in Sports Science at Springfield College. He went on to obtain his doctorate degree from the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts. His graduate training included experience within Boston community health centers, at several private practices along the east coast, and hospital based optometry at the Providence VA medical center.
     
    When not taking care of his patients, you can find Dr. Humulock enjoying Rhode Island beaches, staying active, and playing with his three dogs Zeus, Apollo, and Delilah.

  • Regular eye exams are an invaluable tool in maintaining healthy eyes by detecting and preventing disease. Early detection can reduce the risk of further harm and allow for a choice of treatment options. The exam process typically takes about an hour depending on the complexity of the problem.

  • Rhode Eyeland takes pride in maintaining the vision of our younger patients in an environment that is lighthearted and fun. We want to ensure the good sight, vision, and eye health for the rest of your child's life and take a preventative approach to their general health and eye health.

  • We carry a wide selection of high fashion eyewear and designer frames such as Krewe, Silhouette, Tiffany, Maui Jim, Ray Ban, Oakley, Kliik, Nike, Flexon, Kate Spade and more. 

  • Thanks to advances in optical technology, almost everyone is a candidate for contact lenses — including patients with astigmatism and those who need bifocal or multifocal options. We offer a comprehensive array of lenses to suit every patient, from daily disposables and extended wear soft lenses to gas permeable contacts.
